Always keep your doors locked when driving. Do not leave your personal belongings, purse, mobile phone, wallet etc, at a visible location, such as the seats next to the windows.
When you park your car, always lock all doors, close the windows and activate the alarm.
Do not leave items of any kind (coats, stereo gear etc), money or valuable objects inside your vehicle.
Do not ever leave your vehicle with the engine on and the key in the ignition, not even if you will be away for just a few seconds. Always take the key with you.
Do not keep your spare car keys inside the vehicle. Put them in another, safer location.
Try to park your vehicle in well lighted places. Avoid remote areas.
If you must leave your keys at a parking area, give only your ignition key and no other. Do not leave evidence in the vehicle revealing your identity.
